Job Opportunity : CNC Machine Operator

A client of ours located in Sherwood is looking for a CNC Machine Operator . The ideal candidate for this role would have proven experience operating CNC Machines and can speak to their skills and knowledge.

About the Company : Produce, Manufacturing, and ship worldwide equipment such as log stackers, hay baling equipment, forklift attachments, cranes, and dozers.

Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.

Responsibilities :

• Set up CNC machines for 3 and / or 4th axis machining with precision.
• Develop and modify CNC programs for accurate machining.
• Select tools, perform routine maintenance, and ensure optimal tool performance.
• Monitor processes for adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot CNC machine, tool, and program issues for minimal downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including material handling and PPE use.
• Maintain accurate records for quality assurance and traceability.
• Collaborate with teams to interpret technical drawings and optimize processes.
• Seek continuous improvements in CNC machining efficiency and productivity.
• Assist in training new operators on setup, programming, and safe procedures.

Requirements :

• HS Diploma / GED
• Set up & operate Mills and / or lathes with 2+ years of experience.
• Utilize 3-axis machines for precise machining.
• Work with Mild Steel and thicker metals for project.
• Proficient in G & M Code, including minor edits.
• Proficiently operate and program 3 and / or 4 axis CNC machines.
• Execute setup, alignment, and calibration for precision machining.
• Skilled in tool selection and maintenance.
• Maintain strong focus on quality control.
• Efficiently troubleshoot machine, tool, and program issues.
• Accurately document machine settings and production data.

Schedule : Monday - Thursday, 2PM - 12 : 30AM

Pay : $24 - $30 / hr. DOE + $1.25 Shift Differential
